Killing time ’til Tnxgiving Break? We’ve been working hard.
Alright, let’s play some catch-up.
If you read the Herald today, then you know the SAC Governing Board made some cuts Sunday night from the office space allocation process.
About 20 offices are up for new leases. CFACT, SLAC and the Wisconsin Singers were groups who currently have offices but will not get new leases. They were all denied for committing various violations.
The Nominations Board is about to start aggressively advertising some important open positions at ASM. Would you like a bulleted list? Here:
- Student Council Representative-College of Letters and Science
- Student Council Representative-Human Ecology/Nursing and Pharmacy
- Student Council Representative-Special Student
- ASM Foundation representative
Send a resume with cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. This is you first notification. These are great positions so give it a shot. Make a difference, pad your resume, spend more time with me: there are no downsides!
Also, while I’ve got your attention, we here at the ASM Press Office have started a fairly regular profiles series on ASM members and the efforts they make behind the scenes. Seriously, there is some great effort put into running this thing. Check out the first profile piece right here.
Admittedly, I’m more than a little rusty on my InDesign knowledge but we’ll make this thing better as we go along.
Hey, have a happy Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for you.
